A crash shut down a portion of Route 287 in Bridgewater on Tuesday morning, Sept. 5, snarling traffic for rush-hour commuters.

The crash occurred on the northbound side north of exit 12 to CR 623 around 9:10 a.m., according to 511NJ:

One of three left lanes was blocked as emergency crews responded.
